random notes

sometimes you think a book or an article is going to be about one subject and then it goes places you least expected. such was the case with an interview i read with Lester Chambers from the Chambers Brothers. he talked about Clive Davis ripping off the group, he talks about how Rhino Records wasn’t paying them (and this was at least 10 years ago), and a bunch of other things i didn’t know he and his brothers had to deal with.
